About Alpine CA
Alpine California is an unincorporated area of San Diego County about 30 miles east of downtown San Diego. It is intercepted by Interstate 8 and is located in a very rural setting among the mountains. Today the town of Alpine is very small and rural with plenty of gorgeous and unspoiled terrain. It has seen some suburban-type development in the last few decades but remains sparsely populated. What Some Residents Say About Living in Alpine
“Alpine has been an awesome town to grow up in. Being a small town, everyone knows each other, people are extremely nice, and overall, we are a very tight-knit community. I have honestly never met someone who has been or lived here and said that they didn't love it. The only change that I could see is potentially having more restaurants in town. Due to Alpine being so small, many residents are afraid of Alpine becoming too big. I feel quite the opposite though. I believe that the already great city of Alpine could be made much better by it becoming bigger. Not only would it cut down the commute time to almost any place you could go, but it would also attract a brand-new community to Alpine. Diversity is one of the things that Alpine has always struggled with. By making Alpine more attractive to those who have never been here, I believe that the issue of diversity with be solved, new people flocking her while they can.”
