What do the locals say?

"La Mesa is an excellent neighborhood to raise a family. There are plenty of fun parks and good schools in the district. Every Friday there is a very impressive Farmer's Market along La Mesa Blvd that bring the whole neighborhood together. There is a surprising amount of health food vendors there, but everything I sampled from each booth was delicious! If you aren't much into street vendors, lining the street is a wide variety of restaurants, little shops, and antique stores. With such a low crime rate, La Mesa is a wonderful place that brings people together and reminds them what good food and time well spent is all about." - Niche.com
